The ID co-founders are proud to bring you our first IN-PERSON ONLY cadaver dissection experience.
Class limit: 20 people
Attendees per cadaver: 5 maximum
Dissection experience NOT required
Cadaver patient type: fixed (embalmed)
Students will be performing dissections through the two day event on the following structures:
Anterior and posterior abdominal wall structures, including diaphragm, TVA, IAO, EAO, rectus abdominis, rectus sheaths, psoas, QLpelvic floor, as well as their surrounding neurovascular bundles, ligaments, fascia, and skin
Erector spinae Lumborum and thoracis, multifidus, thoracolumbar fasciae, thoracolumbar aponeurosis, lumbar triangle (TVA/IAO from posterior), as well as their surrounding neurovascular bundles, ligaments, fascia, and skin
8-9 AM: walk through prosection
9 AM to 11:30 AM: dissection in the lab
11:30 AM to 12 PM: ID 1 assessment review in partners
12 - 1 lunch (Provided, or you can bring your own - we suggest staying on-site)
1-3:30 PM: dissection in the lab
3:30-4 PM: ID 1 assessment review in partners
Prosections will be visible on one side of the cadaver patient (performed by the ID co-founders). This will enable attendees to study one side while they dissect the other side, for best visualization.
The three ID co-founders will be staffed one per table so that all dissection is guided by experts.
We will not only be dissecting our amazing cadaver patients, but we will also perform movement-based labs on 30-min breaks to ensure your ID 1 Core Concepts skill integration!
A new set of ID waivers will be available to complete before the course.
